Ethan has been working in Butte this summer remodeling
the schools. It has been stressful, long days and we felt we needed to spend
some relaxing time together as a family. We decided to spend a night at
Fairmont Hot Springs and explore the Anaconda area. We enjoyed swimming and
exploring Lost Creek State Park. I always enjoy exploring with the kids.
We got back to work on the house and finished mom’s
bathroom. We started the project in February, and it took us this long to get
it done. I think the basement finish still has a hold on our energy level and
desire for projects.
Most Wednesday afternoons we headed over to the Whitehall pool to have
some fun in the sun. As a bonus we got to stop by and see Grandma and Grandpa
Jung.
Richelle continued to send updates on Penny. We were all very excited
to get to welcome her home next month. Copper and enjoyed the summer weather
and days when the smoke cleared, and MT skies were at their best. I recreated a
picture of last August with the kids and Copper when we went on a hike and Copper
is not the only one who’s legs got longer! I think the pandemic adding some extra
growth to the kids.
The kids and I took one last trip to Kalispell to visit. We again
enjoyed lake time, the Big Mountain slides and time with friends. The kids
enjoyed our homemade slip-n-slide and soaped themselves up to add a little
extra speed.
The kids got to back to school. They were delayed for a few days
while we waited Mikayla COVID results, but it turned out it was just a cold and
ear infection. While school looks a little different this year, the kids
thrived after they returned and I’m so glad they got to back.
An impromptu mini family reunion, as family traveled from Boise for a baseball tournament. It was so fun to have everyone together and the kids really enjoyed meeting and spending time with cousins.
