Jon and Michelle convinced us to take a break from basement work and do a little camping. Even though we had a hard time getting excited for the trip, the kids had a fabulous time and we enjoyed much needed relaxation.
Hammock snuggles are the best.
This old man still loves camp fires.
But tires out much easier than he used to.
Ethan bought this tent before we were even engaged. We've used it for almost 14 years and it's been a great tent. With kids the zippers are starting to go but it still does the job.
Jon and Ethan did some exploring and found some really cool old cabins we haven't come across before. There was a concrete fireplace still standing.
You could still see the lumber marks from the forms they used to pour the concrete.
The other cabin had writing on the walls. It appeared to be mostly names of miners that had maybe worked on the mine in the area. The oldest date we could find was 1928.
