Basement Progress

We wrapped up the plumbing and worked to get the concrete poured back in. While mixing and pouring 51 bags of concrete is not fun, I will say I prefer it over the cutting of concrete.

Indiana felt the need to leave his mark on the house.

We framed another wall which begins to form the hallway to the back rooms.
We sheeted and painted the mechanical room.

Ethan moved all the mechanical items to their proper place. The pressure tank, water softner and temporary electric water heater (we will be switching to a boiler once we get our radiant heat) look really good in their new home. Ethan re-ran all the plumbing and gas lines, they had them below the floor joists, so they had to be moved into the bays to allow for proper finishing of the ceiling.
It looks so clean and roomy! I couldn't find a before picture but that whole back corner used to house everything and it took up so much space.
We had some helpers as we worked to get the thermal fin for the radiant tubing up. Eye protection that is also stylish always makes work more fun.
