March 2020 is when the year 2020 took a turn that no one could see coming. The Coronavirus pandemic hit and mid-March places were forced to close and states shut down with stay home orders for all but essential personnel. The kids were quickly shifted into remote learning, and we all had to figure out a new routine. With Ethan considered essential personnel and my already working remotely the biggest shift was having the kids home and not being able to visit friends or family. Snow and cold continued which made it easier to be home. The late spring storm brought a fun twist to time on the trampoline. We did puzzles, Sean made himself into a tree, Mikayla cooked up great pretend meals, Copper found a new perch to watch the crazy of the world from and Grandma Barb enjoyed science experiments and music with the kids. Mikayla decided since she was going to be 7 soon she should learn to comb her own hair and she created a countdown calendar to track when her birthday was going to be here.
