April 2020

The stay at home orders continued into April so life was seemed to be at a stand still. The kid continued remote learning, supplemented by science experiments of making butter and building with legos. By the end of the month Sean and Mikayla were in desperate need of time away from each other so Grandma and Grandpa Jung were kind enough to take each of them for a few days. Walks with Copper in Headwaters State Park helped me manage this stressful time. Copper continued to grow like a weed and the different between 0-9 months is crazy in side by side pictures. We celebrated with a quite Easter at home. The Easter Bunny found some interesting places to hide the kids baskets this year. Ethan fixed up his old computer for Sean to do his school work on but Sean was more excited about the opportunity to play Minecraft with Daddy and Uncle Kevin. Mikayla used her imagination to build a treadmill. With warmer weather this kids enjoyed reading time in the hammock. We also spent an afternoon playing a little baseball, which ended with Copper leaping for the ball right as Sean swung the bat. Copper didn't look very good the rest of the day but after a visit to the vet and some medicine he was back to normal in no time. The kids were very excited when they received postcards in the mail from their teachers. The kids missed their teachers and friends so much during this time.
