Spring

After the crazy amount of snow and drifting. It was a muddy spring at our house. When the driveway got plowed it wasn't on the actual part of the road with packed dirt and gravel. Which made it a fun path to get in and out of each day in the spring thaw. Ethan rented a skid steer to move the snow piles back off the actual driveway and hopefully dry it up quickly and get us back on solid ground. The kids enjoyed making a fort out of the pile of snow.

Spring in MT, wake up to snow.

It's gone by noon.

The kids wrapped up school with field trips, final projects, award assemblies and the spring concerts. Mikayla's class field trip to the Museum of the Rockies was on her actual birthday, so I decided to tag along and enjoy the day with the kids. For Field Day Mikayla competed in two events and Sean got in one before the rain and cold caused them to call it a day. Mikayla received 4th place ribbon for the 50 yd dash and 2nd place for the long jump. They enjoyed the rest of the day watching a movie.
For the schools annual Grandparents Day Grandma Barb enjoyed breakfast with Mikayla and Snooks filled in as Sean's Grandparent since all the other grandparents were busy on the day his class celebrated. Sean was very happy to share his day with Snooks.

Sean was choosen to play the part of the prince when the Missoula Children's Theater did an assembly. He didn't want to participate in the production but he enjoyed getting this opportunity.

We traveled to Hysham to celebrate Larisha's graduation for high school. We are so very proud of her and excited for her adventure ahead at Rocky Mountain College and participating on the track and field team.
