July Fun

July seemed to fly by this year. I had two work trips which made the weeks seem to be gone in a blink of an eye. While we didn't get to see am much friends and family as we would have liked it was a wonderful month of memories.
We had a wonderful celebration for the 4th of July with friends and family at the house. This time of year I love the location of our house because we get to view fireworks from the entire valley. That weekend Kyle and Cami came to visit. They bought a new camper so they figured they would test it out by coming to visit us. We enjoyed a trip floating the Madison, and making smore's by the fire. The kids also enjoyed meeting the new puppy Wiley. Mikayla tested out the old party island which we found had a big tear and was no longer sea worthy. She was so eager for them to get here that she waited by the window until she saw them coming down the road.

After my work trip to Boston we squeezed in a weekend camping trip. While the weather brought cool temps and rain every afternoon and we even endured a hail storm, the time together as a family was priceless. The kids had a great time building a fort in a fallen tree.

We enjoyed the annual Three Forks Rodeo parade. The kids enjoyed donating to the fire department in exchange for water balloons.

Water fights at home with dad are pretty awesome too.

We enjoyed watching Grandpa Ron and his band play at the Sacajawea Hotel.

Play dates with Finnegan and many other friends.

Grandma Linda asked the kids to be in the Whitehall Frontier Days parade with her. Their float was to advertise a haunted house in October. The kids had a great time, Mikayla loved that she got to wear eye makeup.

Sean participated in a sparring event at Taekwondo. He is really starting to understand how to approach a fight combine moves and block opponents.
