Sean was very excited for his 7th birthday. In the spring we were at the pet store and Sean fell in love with a lizard. He begged me to get one. We made the deal that if he started to show me that he was responsible enough to take care of a lizard then he could possibly get one for his birthday. However, he wasn't going to get any toys, if people wanted to get him gifts they could assist him with the cost of his lizard or get him clothes. He didn't waiver in his desire for a lizard. He said that was fine and that he would start showing responsibility. Spring and summer were a little rocky for him but once he started school he did such a great job and he didn't change his mind about what he wanted for his birthday, so we had a lizard themed party and he earned his lizard.
Grandma got him a shirt that said world's greatest brother.
Sean helped Grandma with the design of his cake and I think they both did a great job.
Mikayla wrote a card for Sean.
The Kehl family did give him a toy Star Wars lego set which he was very excited about. He is becoming a pro at putting these things together.
Having Happy Birthday sung to him is his favorite part of his birthday.
The second part of Sean's birthday was the lego Ninjago movie and shopping for his new lizard. The pet stores were out of Leopard Geckos which is what he decided he wanted to get, so we settled for the cage and decorations.
