Mom and the kids look for "bonuses" on their way to and from school. They have been lucky enough to catch some moose that are hanging out by the river and eating on the alfalfa field. We have seen a male, female and baby moose.
Deer also frequent the area and are a joy to watch.
The other bonuses have been the fall sunrises and sunsets. I love Montana skies.
Nothing says fall like seeing and hearing the geese fly south for winter.
I catch a glimpse of the moose on my way into town. I had been so bummed that everyone had seen them but me, so it made my morning. We have also seen elk, pheasants, a turkey, and chipmunks.
Sean made a birdfeeder in cub scouts and as soon as we put it out we had a big flock of blue birds come and take over the front yard.
