Father's Day

We spent Father's Day with Papa Ron and Grandma Linda.  Linda came to Belgrade Saturday morning and completed a 5k with me.  She was nursing an injury but she completed the race and I was very proud of her.  I had a personal record and completed the race in just over 31 minutes.
After the race we headed to Whitehall and then to Lewis and Clark Caverns to watch Ron sing and play his guitar at an event there.  His retirement has provided him with time to learn to play guitar, he is taking lessons and he is doing very well.  He has a great voice and plays a lot of old songs that make me feel like we are sitting around the camp fire at a ranch house enjoying the simple life.

The kids hogged the bed so bad that I had to sleep on the floor. I woke up because I had a that feeling of being watched this was my view when I opened my eyes the next morning.
Linda made sure to get me a birthday cake.  It was very beautiful and yummy!
Notice the candle numbers 35+01
My present to Ethan was to go to the shooting range and shoot his new gun.  Sean also had his first experience with shooting a gun.
These are my pet hippos who are playing in the mud.
Just hanging out waiting for us to get done.
When we got home the kids were immediately outside playing. Mikayla is queen of the hose.  She enjoyed spraying everyone.

Sean also enjoyed playing with the gifts Finn from his trip to the Washington and Oregon coast.
