This past week mom and I took the kids to Denver. We began the trip on Thursday June 12th
with the short journey to Billings. These
2 hours ended up being the worst part of the trip as Mikayla didn’t nap very
long and she kept Sean awake. We stayed
Thursday night in Billings with Kyle and then I worked Friday morning from his
house. We left there and made the trek
to Casper, WY where Kyle was nice enough to use some of his hotel points to get
us a room for the night. Sean and
Mikayla LOVED the pool and enjoyed tormenting Grandma. Saturday morning we began the trip again and
stopped in Loveland, CO to spend some time with the Huffs. They just bought a new house and wanted my “design”
opinion. We took Grady with us and
headed out shopping while Mom and the rest of the kids enjoyed playing together. We enjoyed spending time visiting and
anytime I get to shop and spend other people’s money is a bonus! We finished the drive to Denver that evening
and settled in at Uncle Jeff’s for the week.
