This February was one of the coldest winters on record for Montana and with record snowfall it made it an interesting month. We received about 16 inches of dry snow and had to be plowed out a couple of times. Then the wind blew and within a matter of 2 hours our driveway was completely drifted in and Ethan and I ended up getting the car stuck trying to get home. In was a couple of days before we were able to get plowed out again. Luckily it was over the weekend so we didn't have to worry about trying to get to work or the kids to school. The kids enjoyed making forts and digging tunnels in all the snow and even enjoyed the large drifts it made in the yard that allowed them to sled down. One morning we woke up to -34 degrees and beautiful frost on the inside of our windows. Someday there will be new windows but first there will be a new driveway because as the snow has melted we have a muddy mess. The joys of home ownership.
