More Odds & Ends

The chickens continued to lay throughout the winter which was a surprise. They missed being able to roam in the backyard and would not come out of the coop unless they could see dirt. We had an interesting surprised one day with a really small egg.
Grandma made Mikayla a special lunch. She wasn't sure if she liked her food staring at her or not.
 Art time on daddy's back.
After a long winter you decide weather close to 50 degrees means swimsuit and water fun.
Shaunessy came to visit and Mikayla put her right to work playing.
Mikayla likes to be a big helper, as long as it doesn't involve cleaning her room. She wanted to walk the garbage can back to the house all by herself.
Grandma and Sean enjoyed the Missoula Children's Theater production of Peter and Wendy. Mom wanted Sean to audition for a part in the play but he wasn't interested. He enjoyed the show though and really wanted the croc outfit.
Beautiful sunset over the Jefferson River.
Mikayla was using some boxes to make a barn. Grandma Barb and her decided to make one into an actual barn.

Mikayla being a big helper and working on tapping the drywall with daddy.

Mikayla got a new desk. The whole family pitched in to help build it. She needed somewhere to do her arts and crafts, cooking, and playdough and we needed a place for her new friends Max and Rusty.

Fishing and Ringing Rocks

During the Kehl's visit the guys took in some fishing and visited the Ringing Rocks.
Sean has been begging us to take him fishing and since Landen and Josh are avid fisherman it was a perfect opportunity.

 Sean's 1st catch.

Ethan assures me that Sean was not standing on the edge of a cliff but it sure looks like he was!

Easter

We spent Easter at Grandma and Grandpa Jung's house. They are looking to sell their house this year so it was nice to have the whole family there one last time.
I tried to get an Easter picture of Sean and Mikayla but they didn't cooperate very well.

All the kids helped Grandma make the bunny cake.

They had fun dying the eggs.

The Whitehall Community Easter Egg hunt didn't have the best weather. It wasn't hard to find the eggs in the snow.

Sean and Mikayla received a swing set for Easter.

Hunting for the baskets. That Easter Bunny is a tricky one.

They each got a lego set, coloring books, markers and some clothes. Can't forget the chocolate bunny.
Easter day the weather cleared up and we had a beautiful morning for hunting eggs.
On your marks...get set...GO!

Indiana was hunting for light on the grass.
Sidney made everyone some crackers which had a crown for each of us. She also made up a game for us to all play.

The kids were excited to get home and put together their lego sets. Sean received the MineCraft Chicken Coop and Mikayla got the frozen castle.

Indiana was worn out from the visit with family. Aunt Afton and Uncle Josh spoiled him, I'm surprised he didn't end up going home with them.
