Headwaters State Park

It was a long rough week and after dinner Friday night we decided to go on an adventure to Headwaters State Park.  Since it is pretty much in our backyard at this point we figured it would be a good place to check out.  A storm came in just as we made it to the river but it provided an opportunity for witnessing a full rainbow and beautiful scenery.
Our cousin Bryan sends clothes and goodies to Sean a lot. He sent him a cowboy hat that Sean loves to wear.

3rd Annual Symplicity 5k

The company I work for hosts a 5k every year. We close up early in an effort to get out and get moving. Working remotely means that people from all over the nation participate. It's motivating and a good thing the company does.
Due to the fact I am still trying to let the back heal I didn't get to run it this year, but Indiana and I enjoyed a nice walk on a cool but beautiful fall day.

Happy Birthday Daddy

Ethan celebrated his 37th birthday. I thank God for this wonderful man. He works hard to provide for his family, he has helped me navigate through this thing called life, shared in my dreams and helped them become a reality. These three mean the world to me and make my life complete, none of it would have been possible without him.
We celebrated with friends Jon and Michelle, Kevin, Rachel, Kaia and Kate, Ron and Linda and Grandma Barb.
Since we had cake on the actual night of his birthday for this gathering we decided to go with him favorite, pumpkin pie.

Fall Fun

We now have yard work to do but the joy of watching the kids jump in their first pile of leaves was priceless. It made all the work worth it.

Mikayla has to get a good run at it.

Odds & Ends

Lazy Sunday afternoons taking naps in the easy chair.
Crazy sock day for spirit week at school
Spending time readying and enjoying the rocking chair.
Sean showing off what he learned in school. This was a fun story and I so enjoyed him sharing with me.

Dr. Jungs veterinary service. They treat all kinds of animals big and small and they do it with a smile.
Overwhelm of paperwork that Sean completes at school!
Adventures of Mikayla and her Kiwi Crate fun. This month was a camping theme and she made a pack and had smores and hot dogs to roast over the campfire.

Trip to Billings to watch Mickey and Bryan play football. A good visit with Rici, Thelma, Shaunessy, Mickey, Bryan, Cami and Kyle.
Concentrating and remembering that homework is now a part of the routine.

Mikayla plays mom and dad a lot. She doesn't call it house she calls it mom and dad.
Silent moments that make Ethan and I wonder what they are up to only to find precious little moments where they enjoy each others company.

Belgrade Fall Festival

They "present" the kindergartners at the Belgrade Fall Festival Parade. Class of 2029 led the parade.
Mikayla was impatient waiting for the parade to start.

 Here they come.

Sean's class with Mrs. Schaff leading the pack and Sean close behind her.

He finally saw us and waved.
After the parade we went to the park to check out the rest of the festivities. They had a petting zoo which the kids had to visit.

Sean is enjoying preschool, however, the second week of schools he came home early because he was stung by a bee. He was playing on the playground at recess and tripped when he landed he said the bee was on the ground and stung him.  Sister took good care of him.  I told him that he must smell really sweet because this is the 3rd time he has been stung. His hand swelled up alot for a few days.
