Happy New Year

We decided to travel to Wisconsin for the new year to visit the Jung family and spend some quality time with Ethan's Grandparents. We had a wonderful visit and the kids did really well with the early morning and late night travel.
When you leave for the airport at 4:30am all you need are your pjs, blanket, pacifier and cowgirl boots.

Uncle Josh and cousin dog pile.
Aunt Afton and Sidney made sure Mikayla has plenty of "girl time", First time getting her nails painted and they gave her new dresses and highheel shoes.

Family time with a good game of battleship.

Family picture time. Jung first born sons, 4 generations.
Sean's imagination kept him busy in Wisconsin as well.

On the way home Sean and Mikayla made sure Papa was comfortable.

Sean had the opportunity to visit the cockpit of the plane. He even got to push a few buttons. Mikayla was too shy to meet the pilot.

Post New Year's Eve outfit? Las Vegas Showgirl? Hopefully I'll never see her leave the house in an outfit like this!

December and Christmas

December was a whirlwind of a month. We decorated for Christmas and the kids really enjoyed helping this year.  The nativity scene is their favorite.

I decided to keep things minimal this year, haha, The tree needed some time to rest but the kids didn't like it not being decorated. They went to the museum and learned about satellites and decided their satellites would work for decorations until we placed the others on.
Rici came to Bozeman and talked me into doing the 5K Santa Run for Education with her. It was another great run.
My friend Tricia happened to be in town staying with our friend Kayte and they decided to run with us.
That night we celebarted Michelle's birthday at Wasabi, Mikayla loved the salad but needed to take smaller bites. The experience was a lot of fun for the kids watching their food prepped right at the table.
After dinner we went to Jon and Michelle's and watch "The Grinch That Stole Christmas".
We enjoyed many nights relaxing by the light of our tree.
Mikayla worked hard on making all the Christmas goodies.

New Christmas pjs from Rachel, Matt and Finn.  They were so excited.

The weekend before Christmas we traveled to Billings and Hysham to celebrate with Kyle, Cami, Dad, Richelle, Larisha and Mom.
The kids snuggled at Kyle's house to watch a Christmas movie.
 Opening present at Dad's house.
Richelle and Larisha gave Mikayla her own lasso! Now she can rope her horse.
Larisha showing Mikayla how to use it.

A visit to the ranch wouldn't be complete without a ride on Woody.

All those toys and they would rather play with the boxes!
 Chocolate donut anyone?
Snuggled back in at Kyle's house enjoying hourdourves, watching the original StarWars and opening presents with Kyle, Cami and Mom.
We spent Christmas in Whitehall with Grandma and Grandpa Jung. The sparkle in these eyes and this amazing smile just melt my heart.

Sean made shadow puppets and put on a show for us.

Headed to Christmas Eve service.  Sean was doing the robot.

Opening a few gifts on Christmas Eve.
Mikayla was very excited about the mixer from Aunt Lisa and Uncle Mike.

Reading A Night Before Christmas and the Story of Christmas before bed.
Someone is excited for Santa to come.
Christmas morning!!!  What did Santa bring?
 The biggest t-rex imaginable!

My very own horse! I will name it pink and ride it all day.

Christmas morning dance with Papa Ron.

And once again I should have just bought a box.

When your sister is annoying you and you need alone time. Find a box and set up shop with Kindle.
Family music time.  Linda, Ron and I sang carols.
Papa showing Sean how to play.
