Sean loves helping give Mikayla a bath...or at least playing in her water while she enjoys her bath. He picked out these rubber duckies for her and he makes sure she has them for every bath.
Just hanging out. His favorite thing to say about her is "she's so cute". He doesn't appreciate her crying though and will often cover his ears and ask us to leave the room.
My friend Rachel finally had her baby. Here is Mikayla (on the right) and Finn (on the left). Finn is one week old and Mikayla is 6 weeks old but they are the same weight and height!
Thanks Grandma Barb for the sun hat. I'm a true southern bell, now I just need my fancy dress on.
Sean has been such a good boy these days and is becoming very independent. He spent last weekend with Grandma and Grandpa Jung playing hard in the yard and on the new playground set at the elementary school. I can see now how much having a sibling can effect the personality of the children. I'm very proud of him.
Mikayla is having more good days than bad it seems. This week she had a very upset tummy and gave Grandma Barb a rough time. She even pooped on her at one point. I'm so very thankful that mom is here and amazed at how patient she is with a crying baby. She keeps telling me that she put up with me when I was a fussy baby so she'll do it with Mikayla too.
Here are a few videos of Mikayla hanging out she loves talking to Mr. Monkey on her play mat. I even got one of her smiling. She thinks I'm pretty funny.
