This year I found it hard to get into the holiday spirit. We got the tree up over the course of a few days since we all seemed so busy and never home at the same time.
The school Christmas concert was fun. Mikayla was excited about her new dress that Grandma Barb got her.
Grandma and Grandpa Jung joined us for the concert. Sean read to Grandma while we were waiting to leave.
We were shopping for shoes a few months ago and Mikayla saw these little black heels. I told her she could get them but couldn't wear them until Christmas. I forgot about them but luckily she did not. Sean's shoes on the other hand...

The Kindergarten classes had a polar express party the last day before break. Each one decorated a traincar for their parade through the school.
We spent Christmas Eve with Grandma and Grandpa Jung, and attended Christmas Eve service. The kids worked on their lego sets and Grandpa was a big help to Mikayla.
A quick snowstorm came in and made beautiful scenery.
Christmas morning we woke up and opened presents at home before, mom, the kids and I headed to Kyle and Cami's for the day/night. Ethan had to work the next day so he stayed home and enjoyed a quiet day.
Cami only let Kyle hand his Elk horns in the main living area so she could do this at Christmas.
Team effort at prepping the prime rib dinner.
It turned out amazing!
Sean and I enjoyed old school Super Mario while everyone else worked hard at dinner.
A good amount of snow came in Christmas night. Mikayla wanted to help Uncle Kyle clear the driveway before we headed back home.
