It was another cold MT Halloween this year. Sean went as Master Chief from the game Halo and Mikayla went as a mermaid. We enjoyed trick-o-treating on Three Forks main street and then the kids were cold and came home.

Sean Turns 9!
Sean turned 9! I can't believe that next year he will be in double digits. We enjoyed pizza and ice cream for his actual birthday and then celebrated Grandma Linda and Sean's birthday together. Sean requested a pumpkin cake for their celebration and Mikayla and I enjoyed making it and Sean even helped decorate it. Unfortunately I forgot the candles and Grandma only had the number 5 candle. He wanted to do a big party with some friends this year at the local trampoline park. He was so blessed to have wonderful friends join us. As I was figuring out who all was coming it dawned on me that his friends include 3 set of twins! Everyone had a wonderful time.
Puppy Cuddles, Friend, Fall and Fun
Copper is growing like a weed and is already a big pup. We are still adjusting to life with a very energetic puppy, but I have enjoyed being forced to step away from the computer and get out on walks during the day. Most days we find ourselves at Headwaters State Park taking in the beautiful view. We all enjoy the times when he is calm and cuddly. He still thinks he is a lap dog but is finding that everyone's lap is getting too small for him. Mikayla enjoyed a day with friend Sophie at the museum. Winter seemed to come early this year and we've had a lot of cold and snow early on. Luckily we've still seen a few gorgeous fall days. We also finally did the work on our driveway. We straightened it out and raised it a bit in hopes of keeping it from drifting shut this winter. New mailbox to top it off. The kids continue to love building with LEGOS and they continue to amaze me with what they build.
Ethan Turns 40!
We enjoyed celebrating Ethan's 40th birthday with many friends and family members. I set up a surprise for him by having friends Jon and Michelle come visit from Oregon! He was in shock when he first saw them and couldn't believe I was able to pull the surprise off. It was a wonderful day celebrating an amazing man who is obviously loved and appreciated by many. Unfortunately I didn't get any picture from the party.
Labor Day Adventures
We headed to Hysham and Billings for Labor Day weekend. We enjoyed getting to spend time with Papa Jim, Richelle, Kyle and Cami. We even got to see Sharon and Bob, cousin Kendra and her boys. Mikayla was so happy to see Woody and get to do a little riding with Richelle. After our visit at the Ranch we headed back to Kyle and Cami's, Sean was feeling under the weather so we enjoyed a low key evening and visit with Larisha. The next day we decided to explore the Beartooth Mountain range and enjoy a little hike. It was a hot day but a good one. Copper sure enjoyed having another puppy to play with and torment.
