Easter

Grandma put together a fun activity with eggs. The kids loved playing with them all week.
Sean made an egg rainbow.
And some delicious horned cheese soup
It wouldn't be a holiday unless we had sugar cookies. Can you guess which ones the kids decorated?
Easter crafts. Mikayla was very proud of her bunny.
We headed to Whitehall for the weekend. Mikayla and Grandma Linda were playing catch and Indiana wanted in on the action too.
The weather was cooperating a little so we enjoyed some time kicking soccor balls around.

Grandma bought some sidewalk chalk for the kids.

Sean made a zoo and a rainbow over his zoo. I was very impressed with his zoo and everything he included. Not just animlas but fountains and play areas.

They wouldn't let me get a good picture of them together before church. So much for the "cute" brother-sister photo.
I forgot to bring Mikayla's tights and she refused to wear her nice shoes. So this is what she picked out. I think it explain her personality well. She wants you to think she is all girl but when it comes down to it she is a little tomboy too.

When we returned from church we found that the Easter Bunny visited and left a trail of bunny poo for us to follow and find our baskets.

Next up was the Easter egg hunt. Mikayla took her time and enjoyed the moments.

Sean rounded them up so fast and had a full basket before we could say Happy Easter.

 Indiana found some eggs too.

It wouldn't be Easter without hunting the real eggs too. Grandma Barb helped the kids color eggs using rice this year. It was a great none messy technique and the eggs turned out really cool.

Where did February and March Go?

After a busy January we have stayed pretty close to home the last few months. The traveling took a toll on my back and I spent most of February trying to recover. The kids have used their imagination to stay entertained while Ethan and I did a few projects around the house.

Grandma worked with Mikaylay and Finn on some Valentine's Day fun. Who loves Mikayla?
 Little beavers enjoying their cave.

 Future cowgirl softball player?
We figured it was time for Mikayla to actually have a real bed and some decorations in the room. We had not made any changes since she was born and the room needed a little of her personality. We decided to pull my old daybed out of storage and give it a face lift. Mikayla got to choose the paint color and she choose a bright magenta.  Once the bedding came and the wall decor was complete she has a nice little sanctuary on her side of the room.

Mikayla loves to help with every household task, laundry, cleaning, cooking if you are doing it she want to help.
 They were playing ocean rescue.

We decided to replace the bathroom door with a barn style sliding door. We wanted to open up room in the bathroom and make it easier to get the kids in and out of the bath. Mikayla was dad's helper with the project and did a great job with the drill.

We fit in a little park time when the weather allowed.
Grandma bought Mikayla a fun dress and she loves it.

We did take a quick trip to Hysham and Billings to visit Dad, Kyle and Cami. The kids had their first adventure when we got the truck stuck in the hills. Sean was not impressed and very worried about how we would get home. Luckily we had cellphone service and could call Kyle, Cami and Ethan to come tow us out.

 Home Sweet Home

Mikayla knows where to find all the good recipies. She was making Grandma and I some lunch and had to borrow Mom's tablet to get the recipie.

One way to keep these two entertained is to give them playtime in the bathtub.
