Grandma put together a fun activity with eggs. The kids loved playing with them all week.
Sean made an egg rainbow.
And some delicious horned cheese soup
It wouldn't be a holiday unless we had sugar cookies. Can you guess which ones the kids decorated?
Easter crafts. Mikayla was very proud of her bunny.
We headed to Whitehall for the weekend. Mikayla and Grandma Linda were playing catch and Indiana wanted in on the action too.
The weather was cooperating a little so we enjoyed some time kicking soccor balls around.
Grandma bought some sidewalk chalk for the kids.
Sean made a zoo and a rainbow over his zoo. I was very impressed with his zoo and everything he included. Not just animlas but fountains and play areas.
They wouldn't let me get a good picture of them together before church. So much for the "cute" brother-sister photo.
I forgot to bring Mikayla's tights and she refused to wear her nice shoes. So this is what she picked out. I think it explain her personality well. She wants you to think she is all girl but when it comes down to it she is a little tomboy too.
When we returned from church we found that the Easter Bunny visited and left a trail of bunny poo for us to follow and find our baskets.
Next up was the Easter egg hunt. Mikayla took her time and enjoyed the moments.
Sean rounded them up so fast and had a full basket before we could say Happy Easter.
Indiana found some eggs too.
It wouldn't be Easter without hunting the real eggs too. Grandma Barb helped the kids color eggs using rice this year. It was a great none messy technique and the eggs turned out really cool.
