Odds & Ends

The holidays and end of the year are upon us. I can't believe how fast the year has gone!  Our adventures have slowed and we are prepping for cold weather and the joy of the season.

Both kids had their dental check up and both of them had cavities. Mikayla had the opportunity to help the dentist take care of Sean's cavities. She is a pro with the sucker thingy.
When you don't live close to "your horse" Woody you have to improvise.

Mom and I did some shopping together and when we came out of Costco the sky was amazing.

Sean had a hard time last week and mentioned that he never gets any time without the babies. So I decided we would go shopping to donate food for the Can The Griz food drive and enjoy some time together. We of course had to stop at U-Swirl and get a yummy frozen treat.

Friday nights have become movie night. We watched Jurassic World the other night. They covered their eyes for the scary parts but really enjoyed it.
I love Sean's imagination. He comes up with the most amazing things, however, I don't love having to put the house back together every night becuase he has moved every blanket, pillow, stool, box he can find to some room or another to build a dinosaur island, lizard habitat or dragon world. This has been the typical look of our house this week.

Snow!!!

Mikayla is really into "cooking" she loves to get all the dishes out of the cupboard and bake cakes.
We recieved the first snow of the season this week.  It was all fun and games until Sean threw a snowball at Mikayla. Need to teach her how to fight back.

Seas was excited to use the snowman kit the Kehl's sent him for his birthday.

Mikayla was picking up hay and stacking it. She would back up the truck say "hay" then push a button and load it on the truck.  Then she would ride over to the hallway and stack it. She is ready to be a farmgirl.

When you have cowboy boots who needs pants!?!?!?

Happy Halloween

We headed to Whitehall again this year for Halloween.  We also celebrated Sean and Linda's birthdays since we didn't get to the weekend before.
Mikayla was a cowgirl becuase she still talks about her horse Woody and doing everything horses. She put her cowboy boots on and hasn't woren anything else since.
Sean of course was a dinosaur. This year he kept going back and forth between a baryonyx or veloiraptor. Since I was not well plan Grandma Barb made a wonderful dinosaur outfit for him and we used his pterodactyl head from last year making a few modifications.

Happy Birthday time before trick o treating time.

Ethan and Linda took the kids around the neighborhood.

Darthvadar with a dinosaur peeking around his cape.

The kids were done after a few houses. They decided to come back and help Papa Ron hand out candy instead. Sean stayed out with him handing out candy the whole time. He had more fun doing this than trick o treating I think.
