The month of August kept us very busy and I feel like we are playing catch up in every aspect of our life.
Ethan and I were both very busy at work with each of us were putting in 50-60 hour work weeks. We also both have taken on new positions at work, Ethan prompted to Assistant Superintendent and me taking a Team Lead position with our support staff.
We also kept busy helping mom officially pack up her stuff and move it to Belgrade and took a trip with Ron and Linda to Cody, WY to visit the Buffalo Bill museum. Mikayla battled hand, foot and mouth virus, which kept us cooped up inside and busy trying to clean all the surfaces in our house. Sean had his friend Ashlinn visit for a few days before she started kindergarten. All this among our general day to day craziness of a family of four.
Mikayla hangin with her best bud
Yummm yogurt and I get to feed it to myself.
She loves playing (eating) with markers.
Sean and Ashlinn thought they needed strips
We are camouflaged!
A day of playing with your best friend is hard work. Sean crashed on the couch after Ashlinn left. He was so tired that he slept through Ethan and I installing our "new" washer and dryer upstairs (Thanks Mom!) and even the point where the dryer almost fell down the stairs on top of me, luckily I was able to brace myself!
All our "kids". Sean was at preschool this day but we had Gwen, Ashlinn, Finn and Mikayla.
Mikayla loves holding Gwen.
And giving her loves.
Mikayla got her first haircut! She did an amazing job.
However, has to work on keeping her head still.
She is such a big girl she picked out some of her outfit on this day.
Having breakfast with 2 of my favorite people, before hitting the road and heading to Cody. We stayed at Uncle Kyle's the night before. It sure is nice of him to let us stay there so much.
Taking in the exhibits.
This one she slammed her finger in and wasn't a happy camper. She also set off an alarm at one exhibit. Oops!
They had a raptor presentation. The birds were amazing and we learned that vultures self defense is the ability to throw up a very long distance!
I really enjoyed this museum and would recommend it to anyone that may be in the area. Amazing artwork, largest gun collection (Ethan and Ron enjoyed it), the Natural History area which allows you to start at a high elevation and work your way down learning about the vegetation and animals at each elevation. They also have a "passport" for kids and they can go through and look for the right icon and get an embossed stamp.
Ethan and Sean enjoying a little relax time at home playing Minecraft.
I love my boys!
