Mikayla has an obsession with the garbage can. First, it was because of the crinkly bag and the noise it made but now she realizes it is to put things. However, she tends to put the wrong things in it. So far we've caught her throwing away a pair of Sean's underwear, found the TV remote there, and multiple toys. We need to work on the concept of garbage.

Walking with Dinosaurs
Walking With Dinosaurs came out on DVD/Digital this week. Grandma bought it for Sean and he has pretty much been glued to his kindle ever since. It was a rainy/snowy nasty day and I was very jealous of him getting to lay in my bed under a blanket and watch a movie while I had to work. Some times I wish I were 3 again.
Shopping Trip
The kids and I did some shopping this weekend and Mikayla got to have her first time out of the cart in the toy isle. She loved it and pretty much drooled over every thing. Not because she was that excited but because we think she has 4 or 5 teeth coming in.
Many Faces of Mikayla
I think Mikayla takes after me with her facial expressions. I'm like an open book and it's hard for me to not show my thoughts/feelings in my expressions. It is hard to capture them on camera but here are a few.
This one is my new favorite. She like to stick her lips out and squint at you.
She likes her food. She wanted to feed herself applesauce and she was very proud of it.
Grandma and Grandpa Jung Vist
Grandma and Grandpa Jung came over last week to visit. We went to the park to play as the sun was shining. The wind made it a little chilly but it didn't keep the kids from enjoying themselves.
Cute or Scary?
As Mikayla's hair grows it is becoming a bit unruly. Some days it appears as she has 3 cowlicks in the back.

Pu-Birdie?
Sean as he grabs my deodorant "I need some of this."
Me: "No you don't need any of that."
Sean: "What's it for?"
Me: "It keeps you from being smelly, but you won't need that until you hit puberty."
Sean: pauses for a minute "You use it to hit birds?"

Dinosaurs
"Sean! Why are you running around naked?"
"Because I'm a dinosaur and dinosaurs don't wear clothes".
(How can I argue with that statement?)
Dinosaurs are taking over our life.
We constantly have fossils displayed in our house.
And last night I even had a dinosaur walk on my arm and leave tracks!
(beware of the dinosaurs hiding in your bed)
Basketball Fun
This weekend we went to Billings to watch Forsyth play in the divisional basketball tournament. We watched a lot of basketball but Forsyth girl's won the division. It was Mikayla's first sporting event and she did really well.
She climbed up to the top of the Metra. All those stairs!!! When I turned around to bring her back down I didn't realize how much she climbed and how steep it was.
She enjoyed the drum halftime show.
Kyle is in Argentina right now but he let us stay at his house. Probably best that he wasn't there because we made ourselves at home and within 5 minutes of arriving had toys spread throughout.
Mikayla made sure to empty all the kitchen drawers and cabinets. Uncle Kyle has a nice koozie collection.
Grandma Barb bought Sean an animal vet outfit so he made sure that the "animals" were in perfect health.
We told Sean that he is going to have to start using his own money to buy toys. Here is he getting his money ready to take to Billings.
Sean had his first trip to Toys R' Us. He enjoyed going down every isle and taking everything in. I told him he could buy 2 toys I figured he would have a hard time picking but he choose a simple shark and giraffe. I was surprised at his choices but pleased with the cost.

Doing a little catwalk
Mikayla is walking everywhere now. Ethan says she is going to be a cheerleader because she likes to hold things in her hand and shake them while she walks.

Gecko Exhibit
The Museum of the Rockies has a new Gecko Exhibit. We took Sean's friend Ashlinn with us. Since Sean and her no longer go to the same daycare they don't see much of each other, but Sean has sure missed her. The other day he woke up from his nap at preschool and told his teachers all about his girlfriend Ashlinn. Today at the museum Mikayla kept trying to pull Ashlinn's hair, Sean yells "Mikayla stop pulling my girlfriend's hair!!". Well I guess I'm glad he is a gentleman and will stick up for his lady.
Stuck to the exhibit like Geckos.
Mikayla wasn't sure about this.
Having a camp out and cooking all the fish we caught.
Another Dinosaur Museum
Grandma Barb and Sean had a busy day the other day. They dug up dinosaurs that were buried beneath layers of dirt and rock. All their hard work paid off with a beautiful display. (His obsession with dinosaurs is getting out of hand, our house is over run!)
The king of the dinosaur T-rex!!
Sean had all the dinosaurs laying on their side on the coffee table. I laid a blanket over them and told him he had to dig out the fossils. I went back upstairs to work and when I came down mom said they dug all the dinosaurs out and put them on display.
Mikayla's Tricks
Mikayla is up to some interesting tricks these days.
She loves laying against soft things.
Open the door.
Close the door.
Magician's mustache.
Climbing...
on everything!
Trying to look like a little girl in her cute dress and leggings.
Sean trying to help me get her to stand up to get a good picture of the outfit.
Picking a fights with pillows.
