Dinosaurs and Animals

Sean has discovered "Google" (thanks Grandma) so anytime you try to get on the computer he insists on looking at dinosaurs.  He could probably spend hours on it. 

He loves building pterodactyls. Being dug up as a fossil and then put on display at the museum.

9 Months

Mikayla's 9 month stats are:

Weight: 18lbs 7oz (53%)

Height: 28.1" (65%)

She is 1lb lighter and the same height as Sean was at this age.

The Doctor was very impressed with her development (she performed for her and took 3 steps while there).  She also was surprised at how well her and Sean played together, she said siblings this age usually do not play as interactive as they play. 

She has taken 4 total steps in a row and will probably be walking in at least 2 weeks. 

She loves food and if you let her get too hungry or you don't give her food fast enough she grunts at you. 

She can climb up the stairs in 3 seconds flat. 

She knows the sound of the bathroom door and dishwasher door opening, if you don't want help with either of these tasks you better close them quickly!

She loves opening and closing drawers, cabinets and removing all contents.

She is finally sleeping for 7-8 hours at a time (mostly, knock on wood!). 

Happy Valentine's Day

Sean got a Valentine's Day haircut and Mikayla had her 9 month check up.  Then we had a little treat of chocolate covered strawberries.

Happy Birthday Grandma

We got to celebrate Grandma Barb's birthday with her this year.  We took her out to dinner and then had cake.  When we told Sean it was her birthday he said "where, where is your birthday".  He relates a birthday to cake so we had to get a cake.  

Hanging with Grandma and Grandpa

Ethan and I have spent a couple weekends in Butte helping Mike and Lisa finish the remodel on his house.  (Well Ethan and Mike do all the work while Lisa and I watch movies and get pedicures).  Sean and Mikayla got to spend the day with Grandma and Grandpa Jung.  They sure enjoyed having both kids for the day.  Mikayla has become Papa's girl and Sean sure enjoys playing with Grandma.

 All of Sean's dinosaur shirts were dirty so he decided his dinosaur costume would have to do.  He wore this all day and even to Grandma and Grandpas house to visit.

His recent odd dressing habit is wearing non-matching shoes.  Yes, I let him go out in public like this.  He also likes to put his underwear on backwards so he can see the big picture when he looks down.  

Mikayla is getting close to walking.  She took her first steps tonight but of course I didn't get the good steps on camera.
