3rd Birthday

My little boy is 3 years old.  It seems like just yesterday I was holding him in my arms for the first time.
His actual birthday we went to DQ to have a sundae. DQ is mmm, mmm, good!

We celebrated with everyone on Sunday.  In attendance were Grandma and Grandpa Jung, Grandma Barb and Cousin Snooks, Uncle Kyle, Lisa and Mike Jones, and Jon and Michelle Goodwin.

He is sure a loved little boy, he got lots of cool toys and clothes and a sleeping bag.
A tractor from Papa Jim
Barn and farm animals from Uncle Kyle and playdough candy maker from Gma and Gpa Jung

The awesome "How to Train your Dragon" cake that Grandma Barb and Snooks made!

 Can we eat it now?
 Make a wish!

How Sean makes sure Mikayla doesn't get his toys and that only he gets to play with mommy.

Pumpkin Picking

We went to Rocky Creek Farm for our annual pumpkin picking.  This year Grandma Barb and Snooks joined us.  We then came back to the house had taco soup and played some Farkle (a game that Aunt Shelley and crew taught us when they were here visiting).

Sean played Farkle with us and did a great job at rolling the dice.

This was the "pumpkin" Sean picked.  It is the ugliest most unique thing in the patch.  But he liked it because he said it was just his size and he could carry it.

Mikayla loves being outside.  She didn't even mind the cold.
Checking out the chickens.
The baby goats were adorable but Sean was a little timid with them.
Daddy thought Mikayla's Winnie the Pooh coat was really funny.
Special thanks to Jon for taking pictures!

5 months

Mikayla is 5 months old!
She is sitting up
Has turned into a very happy baby for the most part.
Tried cereal and didn't really think too much of it.
She still is a horrible sleeper, but I've come to grips that 2-3hrs of sleep at a time is all I get.
She has learned to make raspberries.
She enjoys sucking on her bottom lip and making a popping sound.
She loves playing with toys and gets really excited when you read books to her.
She loves pulling Grandma Barb's hair and nose.
She has the best pout face and really wants things her way.

Snuggles and Kisses

There had been a lot of snuggle time in our house lately.  Especially Sean and Mikayla, he sure loves his sister.
Come on brother I want to play too.
So this is a panoramic view of the play room.  No snuggling going on in this picture but I opened the door during a break in work and was amazed that almost every toy he owned had been played with that morning.  He promised Grandma he would clean it up which he did (most of it anyway).
More snuggles.
I came downstairs for lunch and this is what I found.  Mom said "Thank you for this it is so precious".  I told her thank you and I'm glad that she is enjoying her grandkids.  I really love having her here and as I told her yesterday "taking care of your grandkids looks good on you"!
Suggles with mommy.

Mikayla is laughing up a storm these days.  Her feet are very ticklish and even kissing them makes her giggle.

Daddy says no and Mikayla just laughs.  I'm pretty sure this will be what happens when she is a teenager too.

Baptism

Mikayla was baptized on Sunday, September 29, 2013.  Grandpa Ron Sr, Grandma Pat, Auntie Shelley and Cousins Heidi and Connie came from Wisconsin to help us celebrate, along with our family and friends from MT. It was a wonderful day and as always Ron and Linda were perfect hosts. Thank you Grandma Barb for making her dress she was beautiful.

4 generations of Jung men, good looking group!

This day reminded me how blessed we are to have two beautiful, healthy kids, and the blessing it is to be able to share them with our families and friends who love them beyond anything I could imagine.  I know we could not raise these kids without their support and encouragement.  Thank you to all of you!

Birthday Gathering

We celebrated Ethan's 34th birthday with his family.  He grandparents, Aunt and great cousins were able to spend it with us as well.  I think this was his best birthday in a while.
Sean helped him blow out the candles.  Ron was nice and took off 4 years:)
Grandma Pat holding Mikayla for the first time. I think she would be very happy doing this all day.
