Seans Shenanigans

Mom and I were sitting in the office talking, Sean was watching cartoons and he says:
"Hey guys I've got a problem" we kept talking "HEY GUYS I've got a problem" I look over and he says "I have a snake on my mouth" and sure enough he is holding his toy snake over his mouth. Mom and I just laugh.  Mom says "Sean I've got a problem too, you make me laugh too much:"

One of his favorite books is called Moose Tracks.  It's about a moose that is trying to figure out how all these moose tracks got all over his house.  Each page ends with "but who left all the moose tracks".  Ethan has been letting Sean finish the line and the other night he says this:

(Who left all the frickin moose tracks). hmmm I wonder where he gets this stuff.

His imagination and creativity amaze me.  I hope that "life" doesn't make him lose that as he grows older and ventures into the world.

4 months

I am a little late on the 4 month stats but at her appointment she weighed 13lbs 11oz and was 25 inches long.

She really wants to sit up and when you lay her down does crunches to try and pull herself up.  She probably has a very strong core but not strong enough to sit up yet.
She is very inquisitive and enjoys playing with anything you put in front of her.
She thinks her brother is the funniest thing every and really enjoys watching him play.
She still wakes up every 3 hours or so to eat. The little sleep I do get at night I dream of the day when 5 hours of sleep will come.
She is still very picky and knows what she wants and when she wants it.  Mom says she takes after me.
I still don't think she likes being dressed up like a girl but mom says maybe it is just our poor fashion sense.

Cat In The Hat

Sean spent the whole weekend with Grandma and Grandpa Jung.  He was only supposed to stay Friday night and come home Saturday, but Ron called and said he didn't want to come home so they kept him another night.  Guess we are just too boring for him.

Sunday evening we went the the playground to let off some steam.  Mikayla enjoys the swings.

Uncle Kyle got Sean these Sponge Bob PJs last Christmas.  We finally got him to wear them.  He wanted to show them off so I sent a picture to Uncle Kyle. Of course he also had to show him his cool new plane.

Mikayla and I were sitting in the play room one evening and Sean was playing in their bedroom.  All of sudden he walks in the door with his shorts on his head and says "I'm the Cat in the Hat".

He played with his sister.

Then got shy and ran away when I tried to take a video.

More Odds & Ends

These are what Sean refers to as his hide and seek pants.

Indiana watching over Mikayla.

We headed to Whitehall this weekend to help Grandma and Grandpa remove a tree from their yard.  We stop and got donuts on the way and Sean picked one that has little m&ms in the frosting. In eating only the m&ms he managed to get frosting all over his face and nose.

Odds and Ends

Two of my most favorite things in the world.  Sean really loves his baby sister.

Dog pile.  Indiana has his quirks and can be a very annoying dog, however, he is the best dog anyone with kids could ask for.  He really let's Sean get away with anything.
Phase 1: Pile all pillows on Indiana.
Phase II: jump on pillows and roll off onto Indiana
Phase III: climb under pillows and hide with Indiana
Phase IV: Indiana looking at me wondering if I am going to put a stop to the madness any time soon.

My little turtle doesn't he have such a pretty shell.

Mikayla loves hanging out on the floor.  She has found her feet and enjoys playing with them.  She also has found her voice and talks up a storm.  She talks a lot more at this age than Sean did but everyone tells me that is because she is a girl.

She absolutely loves being outside.  Here we are over labor day weekend enjoying the nice weather.  Ethan headed to Hysham to spend time with Kyle running around the ranch doing manly things.  I decided to stay home with the kids and put the finishing touches on the new playroom.  Ethan said I wouldn't get anything done with both kids but I took that as a challenge.  The kids must have been on my side because I was very impressed with what I was able to accomplish.
