Trip to the zeum

Sean has been asking to go to the "zeum" (museum) to see the dinosaurs, so this weekend we went to visit treetops (triceratops), stegosaurus, and t-rex.  They also had a new exhibit about rainforests, we made our way through a maze answering questions, swinging like monkeys and playing games.  We also stopped into the Yellowstone room did some fishing, camping, cooking in the lodge and sightseeing from the lookout tower.

Interesting Ride Home

We had an amazing adventure on our ride home from swim lessons the other night.

Sean:  MOM!!!  There's a bear in the car.
Me: A bear in the car!?!?!  How on earth did a bear get in the car?
Sean: MOM!!!  He is eating my hat!
Me: Oh no what do you want me to do?
Sean: Stop him
Me:  BEAR STOP EATING SEAN'S HAT!!!
Sean:  Thanks mom
(Pause)
Sean: MOM!!!!  He's eating my arm!!!
Me: Bear stop eating Sean's arm!
This proceeded on as the bear began to eat Sean's other arm, his knees, his eye, his other eye, his nose and his teeth.  Luckily I was able to stop the bear each time.

Then....
Sean: Mom the bear is sad (sniff, sniff)
Me:  Why is the bear sad?
Sean: He can't find his mom and dad
Me: Well let's help him find them
Sean: okay...Moommmmy bear  where arrreee youuuuu?  Daaaadddy bear where aaaarrrre youuu?

Such an imagination.  Luckily we made it home in one piece and the bear was happy.

Spring Day Outings

Today snow covers the ground,  however, yesterday was a beautiful day so we took an outing and enjoyed the weather.  We drove to Ennis to visit Shedhorn Sports, on the drive back we stopped along the Madison River and took in it's beauty.  Once we got back to Bozeman we grabbed some lunch and headed to Bogart Park so Sean could play.  He really enjoyed the big stage and had no fear when attempting his first stage dive!  I have a feeling it has to do with his love for jumping into the pool during swim lessons.  Which I forgot to mention he has moved up to the next swim class level.  We are now working on getting him to become a more independent swimmer.  Although he hates back floats and the dumbbells used to assist in floating he loves when he gets to jump into the pool.  The first day we moved up the instructor put a slide on top of a platform in the pool the other kids were a little apprehensive about going down it but Sean climbed right up to the top of the slide and didn't even get both feet on the slide before he headed down, good thing I was there to catch him.

Performing on the big stage.

Stage dive!!!

Making music on the way to Ennis.

Going to work again.  This time he must have been a veteranarian or an animal rescue person.  He hopped on his train and said he was headed to work and needed to save the animals.

Handyman

Sean was using his drill to fix his play table (and terrorize Indiana).

Papa's Farm

It had been awhile since he had seen Papa Jim so we decided to make a quick trip to the farm to visit.
Immediately once Sean got out of the car he wanted to see the horseys (at least they aren't neighs anymore).

Playing in the dirt like a country boy should.

More puppies for Sean to give love too.

This was the night before we left on our trip, he made himself a bed out of his blankets, pillow and our clothes hamper.

Then of course had to get in some reading.

Go Cats

Sean's first basketball game. Hanging with Aunt Lisa and watching the Cats play. He wasn't sure what to think of Champ or the band, but he warmed up to the band during half time when he got to run and dance to the music.

Sean's Favorite Things

Pudding and popcorn for dinner.

Pedicures

Mommy

Cleaning boogies out of Indiana's eyes

Fishing for dinosaurs or dinosaurys as Sean calls them.

And if you can't tell his favorite shirt is his lion shirt.  Three of the four above pictures were taken on different days.
