Sean's first pumpkin carving experience. He wasn't very interested in scooping out the slimy insides but once we got him a spoon and had most of it done he got into it.
This is the reaction we get when we try to put Sean in the dinosaur costume Grandma Barb got him, trick or treating may not be on our agenda.
Tonight Sean and I were playing with play-doh. I made him a heart and the conversation went like this:
Me: Look Sean mommy made you a heart. You have my heart and I love you.
Sean: (picks up the scissors) I cut it.
Me: You cut mommy's heart! You broke it mommy has a broken heart.
Sean: Sorry!
Ethan: (giggling) Good practice Sean good practice.
Tuesday Sean turns two....TWO!!! We had his party this weekend so family and friends could celebrate with him.
Stealing Papa Ron's fruit salad.
Lego Duplo cake made by Grandma Barb and me.
He was able to open presents like a pro this year. Just like all Jung men he wasn't impressed with the presents that were clothes.
The bow from this present also doubled as a cape.
He really likes the duplos that Aunt, Uncle and Cousin Kehl sent as well as the barnyard version Grandma Linda and Papa Ron gave him.
This year he had no problem blowing out the candles.
He was a little cleaner after eating the cake this year. Grandma Barb got him a cool cup with his name on it as well.
Grandma Barb has been here since Wednesday. She got to watch Sean and I during swim lessons and has enjoyed every minute playing with her grandson. Her patience and ability to find a learning moment in everything amazes me. I am so thankful to have such a great mom!!
We headed to Rocky Creek Farm with Papa Ron, Grandma Linda, Jon & Michelle Goodwin and Mason & Nicole Jablonski. Sean had a hard time picking exactly which pumpkin he wanted so we ended up with four at the end of the day. Including the one Grandma Linda got him.
Papa Ron came ready to play at the farm.
Sean wasn't quite ready to share Papa's hat.
This one Grandma!
Hey this one looks good too! If you look really close you can see a bruise under Sean's eye. Him and Indiana were playing and Indiana accidentally hit Sean under the eye with his paw. It was a good shiner but only lasted the day.
Sean decided he wanted to turn the light on. He proceeded to scoot a bar stool over to the light switch then climbed up on the stool and turn the light on. No turning our backs for even a second with this one.
And a random video since I feel we have been lacking in the video department lately.
We headed to Whitehall to celebrate Ethan's b-day with Ron and Linda. Sean helped Ethan open presents and enjoyed a celebratory drink.
(Don't worry the flask was only filled with water and root beer)
This week Sean decided he wanted to help me cook. He has learned how to open the stove and felt he should cook something really good.
(Again don't worry the stove hadn't been turned on all day so it's not hot at all.)
Sean, Indy and I held down the fort this week while Ethan traveled to Glasgow for work. When Ethan got home Sean helped him unpack and of course enjoyed playing in the suitecase.
Last week Ethan got a chance to take Sean to swim lessons. Usually he doesn't get off work in time to go with us. I made Ethan get in the water with Sean. Ethan was surprised at how good he is at kicking his legs and paddling his arms. I think we may have the next Michael Phelps on our hands.
