Swim Lessons
I forgot to mention that Sean has started swim lessons. We have had two sessions and he has taken to the water like a fish. We go every Wednesday evening and it provides a little time for fun and mother/son bonding.
September is Gone!!!
The end of September is upon us, how did that happen!! And I've only completed 2 posts the whole month I guess I'll have to post something everyday this week to make up for it. Not a lot has happened in the last few weeks but we have had a few adventures.
Sean's best bud it still Indiana. Here they were playing a game of peek-a-boo. Sean would lift the pillow up and down saying peek. Indiana is just looking for the flash from the camera so he can chase it.
We headed to Billings to help Uncle Kyle redo his fireplace hearth since he got a new pellet stove and needed to adjust the width of the old hearth to meet code. Sean tried to help but he just isn't quiet big enough to handle some of dad's tools.
The finished product.
Sean was a big help tearing down half a wall! This will teach Kyle to not mention something to my carpenter husband then leave us alone in his house with tools. We love demolition and remodeling!
Sean and I also visited the Billings Zoo.
Feeding the chickens.
Feeding the goats.
Feeding the koi fish.
Trying to keep the friendly peacock away from the fish food.
Watching two bears play. They were really having a great time and Sean just kept giggling at them.
And the only video I've taken in the last two weeks! Sean's just getting too fast to catch video.
Ethan whistling in the car on the way to Billings and Sean's response.

Road Trip
We decided to take a little road trip this past weekend. We traveled the loop from Bozeman, through Jefferson Canyon, did some exploring and playing in dirt, then headed to Whitehall and had lunch. Went down to Nevada City and Virginia City, then to Ennis and back home. Good trip and beautiful day!
Enjoyed real homemade ice cream. Yum!!
Played dress up!
Played on an old tractor at the park in Ennis. They also had swings and slides, two of Sean's favorite things.

Labor Day Fun
We decided to head to Hysham for Labor Day weekend, to spend some time with Papa Jim while he recovered from back surgery. He is doing very well and we had a great time at home!
We enjoyed riding around the place in Papa Jim's "horse".
Sean took his first horse ride and even got down the yee haw!
Larisha taught Sean how to properly eat an olive.
We turned a feed tub into a swimming pool and ran through the sprinkler.
Sean and I get to spend Tuesday and Wednesday together as well since Deb is taking some vacation. Ethan gets to spend Thursday and Friday with him. Today we took Indiana to the vet and verified that he did indeed break his tail, in two places. There is no sign of infection or anything so we just have to monitor it for changes or pain. We also got to visit all the animals in the pet store. I think if Sean had his way we would have come home with a bird, guinea pig, fish, and lizard.
Sean decided we needed to pick some of the flowers out of my pots so we made a beautiful table center piece.
However, Sean didn't want to give them all up and wanted to have a flower for himself.
He insisted on putting it in a cup though.
His new favorite pastime is watching dad play video games while eating popcorn. Ethan may have to start monitoring what he allows him to watch, not sure prepping him for the Zombie Apocalypse is the best thing at this age.
We are slowly making progress on the potty training but today we had an interesting method.
