More Animal Adventures

This weekend Sean and I headed to Rosebud for the all class reunion.  We had a wonderful time chatting with family and old friends, however, chasing after him all day and night is hard work!

This trip home we got to feed some baby lambs.  Sean wasn't sure what to think of them at first but he warmed up to them and even fed a baby lamb on his own!

A cow also ate out of his hand and Grandma Barb got a kick out of him sticking his finger is cow poop and asking "what's that"?  Well Sean that's poop and now it's all over your finger.  I did not find it near as funny as Grandma Barb.

To Make Grandma Barb Happy

My mother informed me that my last post did not have any videos and she wanted to see a picture of the mirror, so mom this pillow fight is just for you!  I also wanted to let you know that I am enjoying the mother's day gifts you brought me, every time I step out on the back patio I think of you and get to enjoy the site of my favorite flowers.  Love you!

Birthday's and Camping Trips

We've been busy since our last post.  We celebrated my birthday, it was a great day.  The boys went to a move, while the girls went antiquing and shopping.  We found some great items including a beautiful mirror for our new entryway.  Sean went with the girls and found a few great treasures as well (although we had to leave them at the store)
This rocking chair was an antique sewing chair.  It has drawer for thread and needles underneath the seat.  It was a small rocker but was the perfect size for Sean and I.

There was a picture of a horse in a stall painted on the wall and he kept yelling "neigh".  We decided to let him try out a saddle and see how much he would like riding on a neigh.

Our little fireman.  He really enjoyed this car but it was too expensive .

Getting loves from Grandma and Grandpa.  He has really become papa Ron's little boy.

Sean has been waking up in the middle of the night and I had enough sleeping on the floor with him so I brought him to bed with us.  When we had to get up and get ready for work he just took up the whole bed and went back to sleep.  Little bed hog!

This weekend we decided to take our first camping trip of the summer.  We went with good friends Jon and Michelle Goodwin and we made it an adult only trip.  We thought the night would be too cold for Sean so he got to spend the night with Grandma and Grandpa Jung.  They spent the time riding around the neighborhood in a wagon, Sean helped Grandma water flowers and they went to a garage sale and got some greats toys for when he comes to visit again.  They sure had a great time as did we.

We hiked a new trail and found all kinds of cool old mine cabins and equipment.

This trip showed us Indiana is not the pup he used to be.  Typically on our camping trips he wouldn't stop moving until we all went to bed and the fire was out.  This time after our hike he could barely keep his eyes open.  He also somehow injured his tail.  We thought he broke it because he couldn't lift it up but it looks like maybe he just sprained it because he it is slowly returning to normal.

Nothing Exciting

After the memorable memorial weekend we've been laying low, so we don't have a lot to report.

Playing with Michelle and Indiana. BUBBLES!!!

Enjoying an ice cream treat with my friend Ashlinn.

We have been a little busy with another small remodel project.  I figured since we haven't done one in a few years it was time.  That, and I get these random ideas and my wonderful husband goes along with them.  This time we decided to remove the coat closet that was in our entryway and turn it into an open nook.  It has really uncluttered our entryway and we love it.  We are still trying to decide on the type of bench and shelving to put in.  But for now command hooks are doing the trick.  It was definitely a new adventure remodeling with a toddler in the house.
We forget to take before pictures so this will have to do.

The way, way before.  This was before we even moved in and they were still finishing the place.  It's interesting to look back at these pictures and see all the work we've done.

The after. Thank you Ethan, you're the best husband ever! I love you!
