Memorable Memorial Weekend

Sean and I headed to Hysham and Rosebud for Memorial weekend and we had many memorable experiences.

At the ranch Sean got to experience so many cool things and actually see the animals that make all the sounds he's been learning.  He got to help feed a calf, feed a steer, and pet the horses (well almost he was a little afraid of them when we got too close).  The whole time we were there he was screaming neigh, neigh!!!  Guess we'll have to work on his vocabulary and actually call them horses.

Saturday we went to an estate auction.  It was cold and raining but Sean had a lot of fun.  He played with all the cool stuff and in the mud, rocks and puddles.  Needless to say his clothes, shoes, stroller and the car needed a good wash when we got home.

Sunday we headed to Rosebud/Forsyth to visit with family.  We got to see cousin Darla, Austin, Sierrah, Rici, Shaunessy, Mickey, Bryan, Aunt Thelma, Uncle Wes and Grandma Barb.  We also spent time remembering our family members that are no longer with us.  Sean got to say hi to his Great Grandma and Grandpa Deitchler and DeCock and his Great, Great Grandma Hope.  I sure wish they had had an opportunity to meet Sean but I know they watch over him everyday.

Monday we headed back home but made a quick stop in Billings to visit Uncle Kyle.  He was kind enough to take us out to lunch at Olive Garden (yum!).  Overall it was a great trip and wonderful to have quality time with family.

Please and Thank You

Last week while Grandma Barb was here, we went to get pedicures.  Sean also got spoiled because he got to play in the kids fun zone.  He really enjoyed the ball pit but was unsure about going down the big slides.

We also have been trying to work with him on his please and thank yous.  He is doing a very good job!

Eyes, Ears and Nose

Saturday, for Mother's day, we met Grandma and Grandpa Jung in Willow Creek and enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the Willow Creek Cafe & Saloon, an excellent place to eat and take in some history.

Sunday, Lisa watched Sean while Ethan and I took in a movie.  They were looking good in their shades as they played outside.

Sunday night Sean developed a fever and it stuck around until Tuesday.  I think it has to do with teething, however, it seems like he still isn't feeling 100%.  Grandma Barb is here watching Sean while his daycare provider has minor knee surgery.  Grandma loves teaching him all sorts of new things.

Workshop

I couldn't resist getting a new toy for Sean.  Since he enjoys "working" with Ethan in the garage I figured what better than his own workshop.  It's fun for all my boys!

Haircuts and No, No's

Sean got his 3rd haircut and with this haircut our baby vanished and we officially have a little boy.  He didn't do as well with sitting still for this haircut but we made it through.

The weather was nice today so we spent some time picking dandelions and exploring the front porch.

This is the face that is beginning to scare me...it's the mischievous "I know I probably shouldn't do this but I think I'll test the boundaries anyway" look.  We are getting a lot of this look along with NO!!!

Hiding Places

In the cabinets...

In his tent....

Incognito as a milk fountain...(he proceeded to put his cup on top of his head and let the milk drip down the front of his face and all over the couch!)

and incognito as an ice cream cone...

Sunday we visited Grandma and Grandpa Jung and helped them put in a new window in their dining room.  Sean sure loves his Papa and Grandma (I think they are rather fond of him as well).  It really warms Ethan and I's heart how much joy Sean brings to our family.
