Updates

The Jung family has been trying to recover from a horrible cold. Sean got it first, me shortly after and Ethan followed.  Fortunately we are on the downhill slope.

Sean is as busy as ever, new things for him are:
  1. He had his 15 month check up and weighed in at 21lbs 7oz and 31.5inches long.  He got three shots and only cried for 2 seconds on the last one, what a tough little guy.
  2. He loves helping with dishes and has learned how to pull the chair over to the sink and pull himself up on it.  We hope he will continue to love doing dishes in his teenage years.
  3. He had his second haircut.  Ethan said I had to take him in and get it cut because he was looking too much like Justin Bieber.  The hairdresser was very impressed with how well he sat still.
  4. If you listen really close he will sing "A, B, C" but the rest of the letters are lost.  We are trying to work on other animal sounds but rooster is pretty much all he knows.
  5. Every day is an adventure.  Ethan and I are glad we have someone in our life to remind us of that.

More Mischief and Mayhem

Ethan and I decided to take a night away to celebrate our anniversary, we went to Fairmont Hot Springs for wonderful kid free night.  We enjoyed a fabulous dinner and swim in the hot pools.  Sean spent the night with Gma and Gpa Jung.  He made himself at home as he found "his" rocker and cuddled up with a good book.  Unfortunately Sean wasn't feeling well and he kept Grandma Linda on her toes most of the night. He still is not feeling 100% and has been waking up at 1am and the only thing that will get him back to sleep is if I lay on the floor with him.  Needless to say my body doesn't handle sleeping on the floor as well as it used to.

Indiana has also been giving us some trouble, either he thinks he is not getting fed enough or he is acting out to get attention.  The other day I came home to find that he had eaten a package of ritz crackers, a package of graham crackers and a mini loaf of zucchini bread!  I was so mad and I kept saying bad dog, bad dog and pointing at him.  Pretty soon Sean was going around the house pointing at Indiana saying "ba awg", "ba awg". It was very entertaining for me but not so much for Indiana.  Another day I found a tin can that he had chewed up!  Anyone looking to take in a dog?

Monday I had an extra day off of work and Sean and I got to hang out together.  I got a massage in the morning (much needed after sleeping on the floor).  Thanks Lisa for watching the little man for awhile!  Then we did a little grocery shopping and came home to shovel the driveway and take a ride in our new sled.  Finally snow!!!  Thanks Grandma Barb for the snow pants and boots they worked great!

No more L

For Christmas my mom got Sean this really cool alphabet game for the fridge.

Sean loves it but he also enjoys taking the letters from the fridge and hiding them all over the house. Look what I found in the toaster this morning.

No more L.  Sorry Lisa he really can't learn to say your name now:)

Mischief and Mayhem

A look at the world through Sean's eyes.

Books are the best thing ever!

The ability to open cabinets and remove all their contents makes life interesting.

Happy New Year

Boy the last few weeks have flown by.  It's only January 4th and I already feel like I'm behind for the year!  To ring in the New Year we went to our good friends Jon and Michelle Goodwin's.  We chatted and played games with everyone.  Sean made it until about 11:15pm before he started getting cranky.  We headed home and our heads hit the pillow at midnight.  That's my idea of the perfect way to ring in the New Year.  We hung out the rest of the weekend and didn't do much.  Ethan and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary on Monday, but we forgot to get someone to watch Sean so we could actually celebrate! We decided we would plan something special in the next few weeks.

Sean helping with laundry.  Always a big help.
