4 months
Sean had his 4 month well baby check yesterday. He weighs 14lbs 4.5oz and is 25 inches long, all within normal range for his age. This week he has been very busy. He started rolling over and I don't think he's stopped since he started! He also is grabbing and playing with everything in sight. He loves taking in the world around him. He also has been doing raspberries like crazy. We keep trying to figure out what he is trying to say but just can't do it. The doctor said his development is advanced for his age and that it is never too early to start baby proofing! She also said that we can try starting to give him baby food. We are very excited about this because he has been waking up every 1 1/2 to 2 hours at night starving. We are going to try some rice cereal this evening so I'll post pictures of the big event.

For Grandma Barb
We were supposed to meet Grandma Barb and Aunt Thelma in Billings this weekend but some car trouble kept us home. I promised I would post a lot of pictures and videos. The video is of Sean doing his latest trick, standing! This isn't he best try but he still accomplishes it.
He also has begun to laugh a lot and Ethan and I find that it is infectious. He also is working on his hand-eye coordination and is really grabbing items and playing. It's amazing how much he grows and changes everyday!

Sad Day
Today we had to say goodbye to Gus. He suddenly got very sick, he wasn't eating and yesterday morning could hardly walk. When we took him to the vet she said that at his age there wasn't much we could do. She said he was the oldest guinea pig that they treated so we knew it was time. He brought much joy to Ethan and I and our lives will not be the same without him. Hopefully there are many chocolate chips in his guinea pig heaven. Goodbye Gus we will miss you.

Papa Jim!
We finally got to meet Papa Jim, Richelle and Larisah! The weather finally cooperated and we were able to make the trip to Billings to meet Papa Jim. As you can see he is a very proud grandpa. Sean sure enjoyed meeting them and was a very well behaved boy.
Thank you to Uncle Kyle for hosting us during our visit and making some wonderful tacos!

More videos for your viewing pleasure. We don't know if Sean is going through a growth spurt or what but he has been eating like a champ and wants to put anything and everything in his mouth. The second video was a night when Sean was so happy he was grinning so wide you could see his gums! He was also trying to giggle. By the time we got the video rolling he stopped grinning as wide but still has some cute noises.
